It is my pleasure and honor to welcome you all to the First Chapter of Ascend Model United Nations to be held on 18th and 19th July 2020. Delegates representing various countries will virtually gather for two days to discuss the major threats our world faces today— from dealing with the pandemic to handling border disputes, from discussions on internal security to discussing nepotism. Nepotism in Bollywood is the most talked issue in teenagers. We have introduced a new committee IBOC (Indian Board Of Cinema). This would be the first time that this kind of committee will be introduced virtually. Discussion on these issues will help you have a better understanding of India as a country and the world as a whole. As you all know that no country can address these threats alone. But, if we work together, we can chart a safer, more stable course. And this is how you as delegates are going to find solutions to all the threats by deliberating over the issues faced by our world.
